Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Crank, a mobile application operated by Craftsman Interactive ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App and agree to these Terms.

Account Registration

Some features require creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at h801213@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

License and Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content without permission
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or to harass others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Circumvent subscription or payment mechanisms

Free and Pro Subscriptions

Crank offers a free tier with core features and a Pro subscription tier with additional features. Pro subscriptions are available as:

  • Monthly: $3.99 per month
  • Annual: $29.99 per year

Prices are in USD and may vary by region. Subscription fees are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and processed by RevenueCat on our behalf.

Billing and Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled according to the policies of the respective app store.

Free Trials

We may offer free trials for Pro features from time to time. If a trial is offered, you will be charged the subscription fee when the trial ends unless you cancel before the trial period expires.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the practice data and content you create in the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the App's services to you.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by Craftsman Interactive and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. THE APP IS A PRACTICE TOOL AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE PROFESSIONAL MUSIC INSTRUCTION.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CRAFTSMAN INTERACTIVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms in the App or on our website. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
